There is something about capturing memories for a family - it always makes me smile. But too many photographers get so wrapped up in capturing memories for other families, that they don't always remember to have someone capture memories for their family.
That's why I try extra hard to make sure I drag, errr take, my family out for photos every so often. I took these a few weeks ago and I just smile every time I look at my happy family.
My gaggle of girls.
My oldest girl. She's trouble. ;)
Numero dos - she's trouble, but she's more sneaky about it.
This one is our little firecracker - don't make her mad.
me & my other half.
And finally...this is how we solve problems in our house.
Unfortunately we had a babe that was melting, so we don't have pictures of her by herself this time. But luckily she's not lacking in the photo department.
So remember - don't let those moments pass you by. Have someone take a photo of you, your kids, your family. You'll never get those moments back, so make sure you've captured them. Love to all.

The M Family - My Family {Morgan Hill Family Photographer}
There is something different doing a session with your OWN family. The kids don't see you as the photographer, but as their mom. And boy do they sometimes decide that picture day is the time to tune you out.
But I ventured out with all four of my little ducklings and the hubs to get an early start on our holiday photos. I have to say, the weather was great and the kids (while they didn't last as long as I would have liked) they did pretty good.
And I think this one is a keeper.
I love my family.

Growing Up - 6 & 1
September is a big month in our house. Lots of birthdays - both immediate and extended. But two of the most important birthdays in our house fall 5 years 3 days apart. This year our sweet Delanie Grace will be celebrating her 6th birthday and our sweet little Haylie Mae will be ONE!
This means a quick little mini session for photos for their party invitation.
Happy 1st and 6th to two of my sweet girls.

Splash Swim Meet {San Jose Event Photographer}
This past weekend was wonderful weather and I had the pleasure of attending another swim meet for one of our local teams. This was an away meet for the team, so we headed up to Pioneer High School and they did fantastic! Here's a little sneak of the day.
This swimmer is one of the older guys on the team and he is amazing. He is beautiful to watch glide through the water. I'm no expert, but I think this kid has LOTS of potential.
Seriously, how cute are these boys?
Warming up and getting a little practice in.
All in all, a great day! Good job Team Splash!

JulianG {Morgan Hill Baby Photographer}
Today I had the honor of seeing little Julian, who isn't so little and just full of yummy little rolls, for a mini session. His gorgeous mama wanted to do a little something for Daddy for his first Father's Day. She brought along some very sweet and sentimental items that hopefully make her hubby melt when he sees them.
Look at that chub - don't you just want to eat him up?!?!
A little something special for Father's Day.
He has the biggest brown eyes you've ever seen. Such a handsome little *big* guy.
Thank you, Elsa for the opportunity to capture some memories for you today. I look forward to working with you again! Happy Father's Day to your hubby. :)

Splash Swim Meet {Morgan Hill Event Photographer}
June 4th in Morgan Hill was awful. It was wet and cold and I was due to photograph a swim meet. Oh my. But we toughed it out, the kids swam great and even though it was beyond ridiculous, I will admit it was fun. Here's a little share from the day.
Thank goodness for team parkas, or these poor kids would have been miserable. If they weren't already.
All smiles while waiting for her heat.
A little pep talk before the race.
Still finishing up, so enjoy the little sneak peek. There is more to come!

McKenzie is 12 {Morgan Hill Child Photographer}
This sweetheart turned 12 recently, what better way to celebrate than a documenting what a beautiful young lady she has become.
And I suppose I should let you in on a little secret. She belongs to me. :)

Sweet Baby Andrew {Morgan Hill Newborn Photographer}
I had the honor of photographing an adorable 18 day old newborn last week. He was just precious. He slept for the start of the session, but then he was pretty much wide awake the rest of the time. Thankfully he wasn't fussy, but as you can see he was bright eyed and taking in the world.
Love this face!
So serious.
Although my light was fading fast, I did manage to snap this *brothers* shot. It was a winner.
Thank you A&A's mama for the pleasure of capturing some itty bitty memories for your family. Enjoy!

Happy 4th! {Morgan Hill Child Photographer}
This sweet girl turned four on Sunday. A quick impromptu mini session in the fading sun resulted in these winners. Happy Birthday, Aubrie.
And don't you know that two fours are better than one?
She really loves that she FOUR whole fingers old.

I Heart Faces - anything but a face!
This week the challenge at I {Heart} Faces is "Anything but a Face". When the kids are doing a project my favorite part to watch is their little chubby hands. Just makes you want to squeeze them.
